In the echo,
I begin to hear the murmur of voices.
I cannot distinguish what it is trying to say.
It says too much,
yet nothing at all.
I've lost the connection.
Darkness proceeds to follow me,
it fills my mind and body.
It drags me to the depths.
Yet my soul knows the light.
It begets it, light on light.
Showing the way.
I feel the sunshine on my face,
the earth under my bare feet,
and my hands wet from water.
I thirst for more, but for no more,
for I have found source.
I bask in the glory and grace.
Washed anew,
the cup of the vessel filled
and ready to arise.
I begin to hear the murmur of voices,
Louder and louder, singing down like rain.
I join in with the choir.
I listen to
my voice,
my power,
my grace,
my connection.
I rejoin the abyss.
In the echo,
I hear it all,
yet nothing at all.
Please be kind.
Hope and light lives within us all.
